Trust
Built to be accountable.
Plenty of AI products say "trust us". Here's what that actually means with Truepenny: everything written down, everything checked, and your say-so on anything big. And at the end, a plain list of the claims we refuse to make.
Accountability
Everything on the record
Truepenny writes down everything as it happens: every message, every fact you tell it, every decision, every action. Nothing gets edited later and nothing quietly disappears.
So when you wonder "why did that happen?", you can see the whole story, step by step.

Reliability
Every action checked before it happens
Before Penny does anything, the action is double-checked against your rules. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't happen. Penny asks you instead, and the reason goes on the record.
Here's what that looks like. The discount sounded helpful. It was against your rules, so it never went out.
"Offer the Hendersons 12% off to win the job back."
against your rule: never discount more than 10%
Nothing was sent. Penny asked you instead, and the whole thing is on the record.
Where it matters most
Some rules cannot be broken.
Penny cannot message a customer or move money without your OK. Not because it chooses not to. Because the system it runs on won't let it. That's not a setting you have to get right; it's built in.
Nothing goes out to a customer until you approve it. You can relax that channel by channel when you're ready, and that change goes on the record too.
Quotes, refunds and payments over your limit are always held for you. You set the limits, and new accounts start with everything held.
Penny cannot delete or change its own history. What happened is what the record says happened.
The honest bit: rules about who, what, how much and when are built in like this. Rules that need judgement, like "never promise a date we can't hit", are checked on every action instead. We're always clear about which is which.
What it feels like
Approval comes to you
Approvals aren't chores waiting in some dashboard. Penny asks you on the channel you prefer, and one word settles it. That's the whole ceremony.
Radical honesty
